Hello everyone,
As you know, it's the holiday season. While everyone is out shopping, please keep in mind the less fortunate in the area, particularly the children.
If you could, pick up an extra toy and drop it in the Marine Corps Reserve's "Toys for Tots" box in our new car showroom. They are collecting toys until Dec. 16th.
They ask for new, unwrapped toys for boys or girls.
You can also visit the local Toys for Tots site at http://monroecounty.toysfortots.org to make a monetary donation or volunteer to help in the warehouse, transporting toys, or to assist with meals.
Let's make this a great Christmas for kids in our area!
Thank you,
From the Monroe Superstore Staff

On behalf of Mercy Memorial Hospital System, thank you for your generous support of the Monroe Cancer Center Gala and Preview. Monroe Superstore,
On behalf of the Humane Society of Monroe County, I would like to thank you for your very kind and generous donation. Thank you for your support that, during these hard times, is needed by our organization more than ever.
The Humane Society of Monroe County is a no-kill shelter, and your donation allows us to continue caring for about 100 dogs and cats living in the shelter on a daily basis, waiting for new homes. Without the support of individuals like you, the Humane Society of Monroe County would not exist, and these animals would be cold and hungry and would not receive needed medical attention and would, ulimately, die alone.
Thank you for your love and compassion for these homeless companion animals. We, and especially the animals, greatly appreciate your kindness.
Sincerely,
Penny Bly, Director of Operations

Thank you very much for your donation to the Foundation Fighting Blindness in support of the 4th Annual Eastern Michigan VisionWalk. your generousity is funding research that will enable us to put an end to the blindness caused by retinal degenerative diseases.
The foundation is proud and honored to announce that the sight of three teenagers affected with Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA) has been restored through a gene therapy clinical study. The study was conducted at the children's Hospital of Philadelphia led by our outstanding FFB researchers, Drs. Jean Bennett and Al Maguire. Without question, we could not have reached this milestone without the generous and unwavering support of you, your friends, and family for our mission through such events as VisionWalk.
Sincerely,

Dear J.P. Mahalak,
Because of your generous donation and sponsorship, you have helped fill a child's heart, a smile, and a head of beauty, intelligence and most importantly, self confidence. It is people like you that make a child want to get up and go to school, want to hang out with their friends, and want to go to their high school prom. You have helped them crave the future, helped them crave college, marriage, or even just playing out in the yard tomorrow with their friends.
You've changed a life tremendously, and nothing says thank you like seeing a child with a big bright smile upon their face and a head full of beautiful tresses. A smile can be as bright as a shining star, but it doesn't have any meaning, unless it's from the heart; and then it can be brighter than ever imagined.
In closing, we would like to once again thank you for your generous donation, you have truly succeeded in helping us with our goal in covering young heads to heal young hearts.

Dear Ralph & Monroe Dodge
I wanted to take this time to send you a warm "Thank You" for your generous support of the Monroe County Big Brother Big Sister "Monroe's Biggest Idol" event.
It is because of people like you in our community that make living in Monroe such a great place. Our small community seems to really come together in times of need for these great local organizations. I have been involved with the organization for the past 4 years and have thoroughly enjoyed working with them in helping to raise funds.
Being a real big brother, I know the importance of young ones having someone to look up toand mentor them. BBBS is a great organization that is doing big things in Monroe County.
Thank you once again for reaching deep down during these tough times and giving to help others. I appreciate it greatly.
